The short version. Stage is a private record of the shows you went to. Your binder is yours: nothing you log or upload is visible to anyone else unless you choose to share it. We run no ads, no tracking SDKs and no analytics beyond what Apple provides. You can delete everything from inside the app.
Who we are
Stage is operated by Stage ("we"). Contact: hello@stageapp.xyz. This policy covers the Stage iOS app and this website.
What we store

What we don't do
- No advertising, no ad identifiers, no tracking across apps or sites.
- No analytics SDK. Crash reports reach us only through Apple's TestFlight and App Store tools, under Apple's own privacy settings on your phone.
- No selling or renting of your data, and no sharing with ticketing companies. Ever.
- No reading of your contacts, calendar or email.
Who processes data for us
We use a small number of services to run Stage. Each receives only what is needed for its job.
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage (servers in the United States).
- Setlist.fm — to match a show and fetch its setlist we send the artist name, city and date you typed. No account data.
- Apple iTunes Search — artist names, to fetch artwork.
- MusicBrainz and Spotify (server-side) — artist names only, to build our show catalog. No user data.
- Cloudflare and Google Fonts — hosting and fonts for this website. Your browser requests fonts from Google directly.
Sharing, by your choice only
Your binder is private. When you use "Share" in the app, the image or text you share goes wherever you send it and is outside our control. Per-show public sharing ("add to the public pool") is opt-in per show; until it ships, nothing you log is visible to other members.
Retention and deletion
- Delete your account in the app: Profile → Account → Delete account. This removes your profile, shows and photos from our systems. Backups roll off within 7 days.
- Waitlist: email hello@stageapp.xyz from the address you signed up with and we remove it.
- Data queued on your phone while offline is removed when you sign out or delete the app.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete it. Email hello@stageapp.xyz. We answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU/UK you may also complain to your data protection authority.
Age
Stage is for people 13 and older. We do not knowingly keep data from anyone younger; tell us and we delete it.
Changes
When this policy changes we update the date at the top and, for material changes, tell you in the app before they take effect.
