of use
The short version. Stage is beta software. What you log and upload stays yours. Don't upload things you don't have the right to, don't use Stage to harass anyone, and expect rough edges while we build.
1. The service
Stage ("we") provides an iOS app and website for recording the concerts you attended, attaching your photos, and optionally sharing them. By creating an account or joining the waitlist you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Beta
Stage is distributed through Apple TestFlight as a pre-release. Features may change or disappear, data may need migrating, and the service may be unavailable without notice. Apple's TestFlight terms also apply. We try hard not to lose your binder, but during beta you should keep your own copies of any photo you care about.
3. Your account
- You must be 13 or older.
- Stage is invite-only. Invite codes are for people you know; don't sell or publicly post them.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us if you think it has been compromised.
4. Your content
It's yours. You keep every right to the photos, notes and records you put in Stage. You give us only the licence we need to store, process and display that content back to you and to anyone you choose to share it with, for as long as it is in Stage. Delete it and the licence ends, subject to backups that roll off within 7 days.
You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload. Photos of a performance are usually fine; copying someone else's photos, or content that is unlawful, hateful, sexual, or that targets a private person, is not. We may remove content that breaks these rules and close accounts that keep doing it.
5. Verification
Stage marks a show as matched or verified when it lines up with public setlist and touring data. This is best-effort. It is not proof of attendance for any third party, and we make no promise that the underlying data is complete or correct.
6. Third-party data
Setlists and touring history come from Setlist.fm and other sources under their terms. Artwork comes from Apple. Spotify features are subject to Spotify's terms. We don't control those services.
7. Acceptable use
- No scraping, reverse engineering, or probing the service beyond normal use.
- No impersonation, harassment, or logging shows on someone else's behalf without their say-so.
- No attempts to get around invite limits, rate limits or privacy settings.
8. Ending things
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms; where we can, we tell you why and give you a chance to export your data.
9. No warranty, limited liability
Stage is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data during beta. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for our fraud or gross negligence.
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top changes and material changes are announced in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Stage's operator is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where you live.
